Mr. Chen Yuchuan, Independent Non-executive Director：Male，born in 1934, graduated from Geologic Exploration Department of Donetsk State Technical University of former Soviet Union, Research Fellow, Doctoral Advisor, Academician of Chinese Academy of Engineering. Mr. Chen was once Chief Engineer of former Ministry of Geology and Minerals and Director of the CAGS. He is now Director of Council for Science & Technology and Director of Ore Deposit Geology Special Interest Committee of the CAGS, Vice-chairman of International Association on the Gene Sis of Ore, Member of Subject Assessing Group in Academic Degree Committee of the State Council, Adjunct Professor of Beijing University & Nanjing University among others, Member of the 9th CPPCC. In August 2006, he was appointed as the Non-executive Director. Mr. Chen is a world renowned gitology expert who has long been engaging in the researches on ore deposit geology, geochemistry, regular patterns of regional metallogery, the metallogenic prognosis as well the mineral exploration. |
