On 13 February, Mr. Lan Fusheng，vice president of Zijin Mining Group，attended Fujian-Philippines Mining Development Forum. In his speech, he expressed his wish that Zijin will further strengthen a touch with mining sectors in Philippines and participate in opening up Philippines’mines at a suitable time.
On 14 February, the delegation of Philippines Environment and Natural Resources Ministry paid a visit to Zijin Mining Group.
In the course of visit, all of the delegation members gave a full affirmation to Zijin Mining Group’s highly-efficient and practical management, and to its excellent enterprise culture and environmental protection philosophy: “Development of Zijin comes from innovation in science and technology; Zijin pursues gold and silver, but cares more about clear water and green mountains”.
Vice minister of Philippines Environment and Natural Resources Ministry said that Philippines is an important mineralization region in the world and has abundant mineral resources. Currently, a part of chrome and nickel ores produced from Philippines have been exported to Fujian province. Zijin Mining Group is a leading enterprise in Fujian province. As long as we make a common effort, cooperation among Philippines, Fujian province and Zijin Mining Group in mining field will be more extensive, and mutual benefit and double wins will be surely achieved.
