On 28th Dec, the Peruvian Government issues the supreme decree granting the mining development license to Xiamen Zijin Tongguan Investment Development Co., Ltd for the Rio Blanco copper-molybdenum mine and the neighboring areas, this project is within 50 kilometers of Peru’s border with Ecuador.
The Peruvian law prescribes that foreigners, to engage in mining activities within the extent of 50 kilometers of the border region, must obtain the governmental license. The issue of this supreme decree is the legal basis and legal guarantee for Xiamen Zijin Tongguan Investment Development Co., Ltd to carry out the Rio Blanco copper-molybdenum mining project development.
